Erika Hollis, WESTERN REGION CHAIR

Erika Hollis is a junior at the University at Buffalo double majoring in Political Science and History, Pre-Law. In addition to serving as the Western Region Chair, she is the current President of UB College Democrats.

Erika's interest in politics began the first time she saw Amy Poehler and Tina Fey in their famous sketch on SNL as Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin but really spiked in the last election cycle when she volunteered for local campaigns, voter drives and the Erie County Democratic Committee. Since the election, she has interned for Erie County Legislator Patrick Burke.

Erika was born in Rochester, NY but resides in Buffalo, NY. Some of her hobbies include reading, watching the Bills and Sabres lose, playing with her dog and playing the ukulele.

Dameian Bossarte, NORTHERN REGION CHAIR

Dameian Bossarte is a junior at St. Lawrence University, majoring in Government and History. He is on the Pre-Law track with a focus on the American legal system. He is also the President of St. Lawrence Democrats.

Dameian calls Cambridge, Massachusetts home when he is not at St. Lawrence, and split his childhood between the Boston area and New Hampshire. He became interested in politics during President Obama's 2008 campaign, and worked his first campaign in 2012 for a State Senate race, while knocking doors for the Presidents reelection on the weekends. In his free time, Dameian can be found on a mountain during every season.

Harry Bittker, SOUTHERN REGION CHAIR

Harry Bittker is a junior at Binghamton University studying Political Science. Currently Southern Tier Region Chair and Treasurer of the Binghamton University College Dems, Harry previously served as Development Director for CDNY and Political Director for the Binghamton University College Democrats.

Harry attributes his passion for politics to his mother, who took him to vote every year (and always let him pull the lever), and his seventh grade social studies teacher, who facilitated after school discussions on issues affecting the community. More recently, he's worked on local campaigns, most recently managing Eileen Konecny's campaign for Town of Union Supervisor.

Originally from Westchester, Harry cares most about improving democratic access, environmental issues, reforming education, and increasing political engagement. Outside of politics, he also enjoys baseball, watching Netflix (West Wing and House of Cards in particular), and spending time with his three dogs.

Robert Liford, NEW YORK CITY REGION CHAIR

Robert Liford is a sophomore at CUNY Hunter College, majoring in Political Science. Robert founded the Hunter College Democrats in November 2016, in the immediate wake of that year's presidential election. From the beginning, Robert's goal was to establish an organization capable of addressing the unique issues facing students at Hunter College, ultimately providing the student body with both a platform facilitating collective action as well as a voice within the Democratic Party.

Robert was elected to chair the New York City region of the College Democrats of New York in April 2017, and in addition to his work within the College Democrats, he interns for DNC Vice-chairman Michael Blake.

Outside of work, Robert enjoys reading and MUJI stationary.

Henry Yanza, Long Island/queens region CHAIR

Henry is currently a junior at Stony Brook University pursuing a degree in the field of Political Science.  He lived in Ecuador for about 3 years where he was able to see the differences in quality of life and to integrate into the culture. Growing up, he saw firsthand what it was like to live in poverty, to fear your parents being taken away because of their immigration status, and learned of the reality that many people are blind to. His introduction into politics came from his fascination with being a leader and a hero from reading One Piece or My Hero Academia where topics such as corruption, discrimination, poverty, war, and trafficking are discussed. He wants to go into politics to inspire people, to leave behind a legacy for the next generation, and to simply be a hero (in a suit) with a smile. Helping others is what he loves. After graduating, he plans to join the Peace Corps before ultimately going to law school. Besides politics, he just likes to go out and enjoy the fresh air.
